Sayonara Connemara - Allies

Apparently, this travesty is being hailed as Ireland’s most popular World Cup anthem, but then again, football fans aren’t exactly renowned for the treasures of their CD trove (even hotpress’ own Stuart Clark – Everton’s number one supporter – has had the odd slip up in the personal taste department).

Still, this particular effort is worth the dosh if only for the ‘Translations’ section on the sleeve, noting some of the more common Japanese phrases (saki, sushi, ikimasho etc) and, naturally, the all important karaoke B side for that ever so long bus journey home. Altogether now… “Sayonara…to Connemara…”
