Royseven release album taster
The Artists Formerly Known As Jove, Royseven, open their recorded account with the September 8 release of ‘Older’, the first single to be lifted from their The Art Of Insincerity album, which follows in October.
You can also catch the Dublin sextet live when they swing by Whelan’s, Dublin (August 25); HMV, Grafton Street, Dublin (September 8 @ 1pm); Golden Discs, Clonmel (September 8th @ 6pm); Danno’s, Clonmel (September 8); Tower Records, Dublin (9th @ 3pm); Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin (10th @ 3pm); and the Imagine Festival, Waterford (October 27 & 28).
We hate to mention the C-word, but there’s an emotional intensity and general largesse about the album, which should have Coldplay fans queing up around the block.
Roysen’s trip to Waterford is part of a major musical splurge that takes place between October 26 and November 6 and also features Flook, Garrett Wall, Mocrac, Maighread & Triona Ni Dhomhnaill, The Radio, Gorbachov, Duke Special, Mark Geary, The Marshals, Boss Volenti, Vesta Varro and loads more.
