Roxette to play Dublin
The Swedes are back with a new album and world tour.
Having established themselves as a supreme pop act in the late '80s, Swedish duo Roxette returned last year with Charm School, their eight studio album and first in a decade. It was Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle's first significant foray back into the spotlight following Marie's recovery from a brain tumour operation in 2002, and gave the two a fresh reason to take to the road.
Thus far, Roxette have played to over 800,000 fans in 31 countries and their world tour rumbles on in 2012. Luckily for Irish fans, a date in Dublin has just been announced.
Roxette will play The O2, Dublin, on July 9.
Tickets go on sale this Friday January 27 at 9am. Tickets start at €44.05 including booking fee and will be available from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link].
