Rodrigo Y Gabriela to soundtrack Disney movie

Great news for adopted Irish duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela as it's been confirmed that they are to collaborate with Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer on the upcoming soundtrack to the fourth installment of Johnny Depp's successful Pirates franchise.

Speaking about working them, Zimmer recently said, "The way we’re working, the three of us are sitting in a room, I play average keyboards and they play brilliant guitars and we’re writing cues together. There’s a force, a ferocity, about their sound."

The soundtrack to the film will be released on May 17 with the film coming out a mere three days later.
