Relish set for Whelan's date
Brothers will hit Upstairs venue in November
With their classic Wildflowers and Karma Calling getting the re-release treatment through a new deal inked with Universal, Relish have made a welcome return to the scene.
Single 'Got It Made' announced their comeback at the start of the summer, and now brothers Ken and Carl Papenfus - the current two-headed incarnation of the band - are preparing to strut their stuff in the live setting.
The past few years have seen an array of exciting departures- from performances in jazz operas and performing the soundtrack for John Carney's upcoming Sing Street to touring the world as part of Sinead O’Connor’s band. It's back to Wexford St. later this year, though, and not a moment too soon.
The lads made fans out of everyone from Brian May to Bono the first time round, so we're certainly expecting to be impressed when they hit Upstairs@Whelan's on November 21; tickets, priced at €15, are on sale now.
