The singer-songwriter will make her way to Dublin this summer, returning to Ireland for the first time since 2013.
Regina Spektor will take the stage at The Bord Gais Energy Theatre at August 6, 2017. She is currently finishing her sold out US tour on which she played concerts in New York, Chicago or Nashville and a gig in Los Angeles set for April 8.
The tour follows the release of her critically acclaimed seventh album Remember Us To Life, which was released in September 2016.
Spektor was born and raised in Moscow, before her family immigrated to the United States when she was nine years old. She began learning to play classical piano when at the age of six, ever since continued her classical training until eventually studying composing at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College. When Regina was in her teen years she started writing her own songs and debuted with her self-released EP 11:11 in 2001.
Her fourth record Begin To Hope marked Regina’s commercial breakthrough and her fifth and sixth albums both debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album charts.

But Spektor not only wrote music for her records, but also for the screen: Her songs appeared on various TV shows and movies such as How I Met Your Mother, The Good Wife and (500) Days of Summer. Spektor played for the Obamas and guests at the White House and performed as part of philanthropic campaigns for Tibet, Doctors Without Borders, and many more.
