Queen guitarist reveals details on new album
Unreleased vocals from iconic, late frontman Freddie Mercury will breath new life into new posthumous Queen album.
During a May 23 interview with BBC Radio Wales’s Wynne Evans, Queen guitarist Brian May announced that the album will probably be titled ‘Queen Forever’ and will feature unreleased vocal recordings of Freddie Mercury.
“We found a few more tracks with Freddie singing and all of us playing, and they’re quite beautiful,” May said. “Most of it comes from the ‘80s when we were in full flight. It is quite emotional. It is the big big ballads and the big, big epic sound.”
May said the album will be a compilation but will have material “that nobody in the world has ever heard. May said the album will be out towards the end of the year.
