PREMIERE: The Ninth Wave share 'I'm Only Going To Hurt You' (Mogwai Remix)

Following the release of their critically acclaimed Happy Days! EP, The Ninth Wave have returned with 'I'm Only Going To Hurt You' remixed by Mogwai – the first in a series of remixes set to be released as Unhappy Days.

Scottish post-rockers Mogwai have reconstructed The Ninth Wave's single with motorik drum machines and pulsing synths, to create a dark and atmospheric new wave energy.

The Happy Days EP was recorded at the suitably goth-titled Black Bay studio, on the island of Great Bernera in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, and was produced by Faris Badwan of The Horrors. Their follow-up project, Unhappy Days, is set to be released on November 13 via Distiller Records.
