PREMIERE: Mike Roche shares debut single 'Confess'

Mike Roche has announced his arrival as a serious force on the Irish music scene with his genre-blending debut single 'Confess'.

Combining a catchy alt-pop hook with a raw, rock-influenced urgency, the single began life in April – before being pieced together with the help of acclaimed producer Dave Skelton. With ominous undertones, 'Confess' explores themes of temptation, and "having your head turned whilst being in a relationship."

"I think it's actually a situation a lot of people find themselves in, but wouldn't admit to," Mike says. "It's simple as being with someone but having someone else on your mind, and the chorus to this song really reflects that."

The Cork singer-songwriter is currently working on his debut EP, set to be released in early 2021.
