Planet Gig for Music Show

Making their first appearance at The Music Show, Hot Press can confirm that Planet Gig Guide will host a stand at the 2012 exhibition, which takes place in the RDS in February.

The Planet Gig Guide app was launched in July 2011 and is a venue finder for live music venues and festivals nationwide. The app already has a base of over 200 venues, with more being added all the time.

“The Planet Gig Guide app makes it easy to find your favourite live music venues and see what’s on. It includes images of each venue and options to view the venue website, call the venue and also find it on Google Maps,” explained a company spokesperson. “And it's free to download which is definitely a huge plus!”

The app also enables users to find out everything they need to know about the venues of the various festivals around the country. Designed in Ireland, Planet Gig Guide is designed by their own in-house developers and is quickly becoming an essential app to have on your Smartphone.

The Music Show takes place on February 25 and 26 in the Main Hall, RDS.
