Pitch Perfect 3 gets pushed back

After the release of two jaw-dropping films of dance and song, Pitch Perfect is scheduled to launch its third installment on August 4, 2017.

Initially, the third movie in the trilogy was planned to be released on July 21, 2017, however the date has been further prolonged.
Pitch Perfect 2 was released this past May, and is now available for DVD purchase.
The most recent film continued to showcase protagonists Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson competing in an international cappella competition. After an unfortunate wardrobe mishap at an event to honour the US president, Kendrick and Wilson’s dance team, the Barden Bellas, enter themselves into the World Championships to redeem themselves. They find their team faced against the European champion team, and are forced to put their biggest and best efforts to the table.
Carrying the torch forward, there is high anticipation for Pitch Perfect 3.
Elizabeth Banks, director of Pitch Perfect 2 and franchise producer told the Hollywood news source, Entertainment Weekly: “We are hard at work on figuring out what the next chapter for the Barden Bellas is going to be. They’re gonna sing, they’re gonna dance, and they’re gonna be funny… I don’t want to give anything away!”
