Pilgrims announce Dublin gig
The collaborative project, which consists of Paul Noonan and composer Brian Crosby will play the National Concert Hall
Pilgrims have announced a Dublin gig later this year. The collaborative project will perform at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on September 12.
The show is part of a special run of dates that also includes London and Paris, following a sold-out Irish tour that recently finished after 13 performances.
The stage setup will feature only a piano.
Pilgrims is the musical collaboration between Bell X1's Paul Noonan and composer Brian Crosby. The duo released their debut album, Wintering, in January.
The pair first met at school and later worked together in Bell X1 before Crosby's departure in 2008. Noonan is also involved in several other musical projects, including HousePlants and Printer Clips. Crosby is a founding member of Juniper and composes scores for film and television.
Hot Press described Wintering as: “Despite its soft chords, it carries an emotional weight that hits hard, serving as a powerful soundtrack for quiet reflection, much like some of Hozier's more melancholic ballads.”
Tickets for the Dublin show are on sale now here, while tickets for the London and Paris dates will go on sale on Friday, June 5.
