Joshua Burnside announces Dublin show
Tickets go live on September 10 at 10 a.m.
Joshua Burnside will be performing at Vicar Street on May 16, 2027. The show will be his biggest headliner in Dublin yet.
Burnside is a singer-songwriter and producer from Northern Ireland. He is known for blending electronica and experimentalism with Irish trad music. The music of Eastern Europe, Indonesia, and Colombia, where he wrote his debut album, have also influenced his style significantly.
His album It's Not Going To Be Okay came out this March. Its folksy, melancholy sound will appeal to fans of Noah Kahan or Ye Vagabonds.
"I wrote and recorded this album after the death of one of my closest friends Dean Jendoubi, and most of the songs deal directly with that", Burnside wrote. "He was an incredible person, and I miss him every day".

His 2025 album Teeth of Time was selected as one of the BBC 6Music Albums of the Year. It was also nominated for various awards, including 2025 Choice RTÉ Irish Album of the Year, 2025 Folk Album of the Year, and the NI Music Prize for Best Album.
The new album has also been playlisted by BBC 6Music.
Tickets to the Vicar Street show go on sale September 10 at 10 a.m.
