The Vivid are a Northern Irish outfit whose The Stripper album contains nods in the direction of Electronica, '80s pop and Ambient House. ‘Perfume’ is one of the The Vivid’s more laid back offerings; it put me in mind of a sort of poppier Soft Cell, and stripped back a little I could imagine it gracing several of those five am chillout-type compilations. Very gay, in a good way.
