Peavey will make the RTAS release of the 64-bit amplifier modeling software ReValver MK III available as a free upgrade.
The highly anticipated update is available now as a free download from peavey.com to owners of the virtual amplifier software.
Developed by Peavey Electronics, ReValver MK III replicates 15 of the world’s most popular guitar amps, including several Peavey amps.
ReValver offers serious guitarists the chance to design their ultimate custom amps and speaker systems, recreating every nuance with amazing accuracy. The algorithm improvements from the ReValver MK II model offer enhanced realism, particularly in the tube and transformer simulation.
Despite the advanced modeling algorithms, operating the ReValver models can be as simple or as in-depth as the user likes. The software GUI is user-friendly, instantly familiar and easy to use.

With a drag and drop interface users can add and subtract individual components and devices such as amplifiers, preamps, power amps, stomp boxes and effects.
The customization tools allow users to change, add or subtract tubes on all amplifier models, and then calibrate even the voltage parameters of those tubes. In all, users can program more than 15 elements and functions on each tube stage, with as many as 17 different preamp and power tube types to choose from. The software also features a robust stomp-box and effects section with various types of chorus, wah, distortion, tremolo, delay, octaver and many more.
