The track, from Cameron Crowe's Singles, has never been released commercially and was not included on the movie's official soundtrack.
"Where are the anthems for our youth? What happened to music that meant something? The Who at the Kingdome, or Kiss at the Coliseum... Where is the 'Misty Mountain Hop,' where is the, is the 'Smoke on the Water'... Where is the 'Iron Man' of today?" – Cliff Poncier, Singles.
Enter 'Touch Me I'm Dick', the fictional single of fictional band Citizen Dick. Fronted, in the film, by Matt Dillon and featuring Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam, the title is a play on Mudhoney's first single, 'Touch Me i'm Sick'. Finally released as a 7" on Record Store Day 2015, "Touch Me I'm Dick' was not included on the original Singles OST which has since been twice certified platinum and, upon it's release in 1992, helped to cement the idea of the "Seattle Sound".
