Paul Simon's disorderly conduct charges dropped
Him and his wife Edie Brickell were arrested in April.
Paul Simon and his wife Edie Brickell both avoid charges for disorderly conduct after prosecutors decided not to file charges and the case was dropped.
The saga began on April 26 when in a public argument Simon allegedly shoved Brickell, with Brickell allegedly responding by slapping him in response. In the alleged scrap, Simon reportedly cut his ear while Brickell reportedly bruised her wrist. The couple have been married since 1992.
In a court appearance Simon described of the incident:
"Both of us are fine together. We had an argument and it's fairly atypical of us; neither of us has any fear or any reason to feel threatened and I don't feel I need to be protected."
