Paul Noonan annouces all-star Printer Clips project
The day before he and his Bell X1 bandmates possibly bag themselves the Choice Music Prize, Paul Noonan has announced details of Printer Clips, a collection of duets that he’s written over the past two years and taken to recording in hallways, basements and bedrooms – there’s an obvious follow on to that last bit! – in Montreal, New York, Dublin and London.
His co-stars include Joan As Policewoman, Martha Wainwright, Amy Millan, Lisa Hannigan, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Julia Stone, Cathy Davey, Gemma Hayes, Danielle Harrisson and token bloke Caoimhin O Raghallaigh.
The live unveiling takes place on May 24 in the National Concert Hall where Lisa, Gemma, Maria , Cathy, Danielle and Caoimhin O Raghallaigh will all be doing their respective things.
