BASED all-ages music festival returns to Dublin this month
The all-ages music festival is back for its ninth installment.
BASED festival is returning to the Button Factory, Dublin, on June 28.
The all-ages, alcohol-free event was created to give an inclusive and accessible event to a younger generation of artists and music fans, and presents a line-up of emerging indie-rock acts from around Ireland.
This year's line-up features eight acts: Stick N' Poke, Static, VIBHAN, UglyGerry, Precision, Meela Falta, Pyrsia and Reminisce.
"The demand for all-ages shows, and the support for a new generation of musicians in Ireland, has led to the success of our festivals," stated BASED festival director Colm Slattery. "There are so many great bands with nowhere to perform because they're not 18. We provide a much-needed platform for emerging bands."
BASED has teamed up with Safe Gigs Ireland, a non-profit organisation that provides events with volunteers to help ensure safety and a positive presence. There will be extra security and on-site medics to ensure a secure experience for attendees.
Tickets start from €20 and are available here.
