Out Of Time

Only recent graduates from uni themselves, all-girl trio Pulszar have already toured with Placebo and been compared to such halls-of-residence luminaries as Belly and Throwing Muses. Here, the group throw some unconvincing garage rock shapes and studiously ignore their singer’s worryingly Andrea Corr-like vocal performance. Not bad, but they’re not quite in the same league as Tanya Donnelly and co just yet.
