Orbital man to play Dublin
Former Orbital lynchpin Phil Hartnoll brings his new Long Range project to Dublin for a show in Crawdaddy.
He plays there on November 17.
Having amicably parted company with his brother Paul, the Kentish man is now bleeping with Nick Smith who’s had his music used on such major films as Hannibal.
Their sound, we’re told, “harks back to the ambient genius that was Orbital, from blissed out moments to jarred and broken beats.”
Kicking off at 11.30pm, it’s a half-live, half-DJ affair with tickets on sale now priced €20 from the usual dance outlets.
