In the fortnight that the 21st century Howard Hughes made his first indoor appearance since Earl’s Court ‘95 in Santa Barbara district court, looking by all accounts “pale and gaunt” (copyright: tabloid newspapers everywhere), this somewhat wishfully titled, formulaic slice of pop ’n’ b gets an unconditional release back into civilised society. ‘Billie Jean’ it’s most definitely not, but, for Chrissakes, let’s give the guy a break.
