One Direction top Irish chart
They knock Marina & The Diamonds off the No. 1 spot.
X-Factor boyband One Direction have climbed to the top of the Irish chart this week with their debut album Up All Night.
Adele remains steadfast at No. 2 with 21, while Welsh singer Marina & The Diamonds drops two places to No. 3.
It's a new entry at No. 4 for Blue Nile man Paul Buchanan's new solo album Mid Air, while Lana Del Rey climbs an impressive ten spots to No. 5 with her debut Born To Die.
Other new entries this week include John Mayer's Born & Raised, at No. 14, and fun., whose Some Nights (reviewed in next week's Hot Press) is at No. 15.
Meanwhile, Adele stays put at the top of the Indie chart with the aforementioned 21. Paul Buchanan is at No. 2, while Scala & Kolacny Brothers' self-titled album is at No. 3.
