Oisin Leech’s Cold Sea announced as BBC 6 Music album of the year, 2025 tour dates revealed
The artist’s debut album was selected as Cerys Mathews’ Album Of The Year.
Singer-songwriter Oisin Leech has been awarded BBC 6 Music’s album of the year, for his debut album Cold Sea, selected by Cerys Mathews. He has also announced a 2025 UK tour.
Cold Sea was released in March this year on Outside Music and Tremone Records. Written and performed by Leech, the album also features contributions from Dónal Lunny, Tony Garnier, and Roisin McGrory. It was produced and recorded in Donegal by musician Steve Gunn.
Earlier this year, The Irish Times listed Cold Sea in their “Top Ten Irish Albums of 2024 So Far”.
Later this month, Oisin will travel home to play the Christmas YULE gig at Dalymount Stadium in support of the Dublin Simon Community, arranged by Siobhan Kane.
