Artifact was recorded in the wake of Radiate Like This's release and at gigs marking both the 15th anniversary of the band's debut EP Exquisite Corpse and their 20th year as a group.

Los Angeles indie rock band Warpaint have announced a new live record, Artifact, out December 11 via Rough Trade Records.

The news comes alongside the release of two songs from the collection - 'Billie Holiday', recorded in Phoenix, and 'New Song', recorded on the same tour in Dallas.

'Billie Holiday' features a video filmed by Robin Laananen and edited by Chase Meier and jennylee.

Artifact marks the band's first full record since their 2022 album Radiate Like This. It also follows on from standalone single 'Common Blue', which marked the group's return to their original label Rough Trade Records, and reached No. 4 on the UK Physical Singles Chart.

The 16-track album brings together a collection of Warpaint's most distinctive live recordings and a host of fan-favourite songs captured across several performances, including 'Undertow', 'Love Is To Die', 'So Good' and more.

It was recorded in the wake of Radiate Like This's release and at gigs marking both the 15th anniversary of the band's debut EP Exquisite Corpse and their 20th year as a group.

"Listening back, we're very proud of the music we've created together, the connection between us and that there are people who enjoy our music and come to see us," Warpaint said. "This collection is a snapshot of the sound and energy of our shows and an experience that we've felt so lucky to share."

The band, formed on Valentine's Day in 2004, consist of guitarists and vocalists Emily Kokal and Theresa Wayman, bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg and drummer Stella Mozgawa.

They have released four albums to date, with Artifact marking their fifth.
