Oh Yeah Music Centre releases Contenders album
It's your chance to check out some of the North's hottest talent.
To coincide with the release of the Oh Yeah Contenders CD sampler, the likes of Wonder Villains, Here Comes The Landed Gentry, Silhouette, A Plastic Rose and Ram’s Pocket Radio are heading out on a Northern Irish tour that includes Nerve Centre, Derry (October 15); Island Arts Centre, Lisburn (21); Top Of The Town, Omagh (November 4); and Cellar Bar, Draperstown (11) stop-offs.
Meanwhile, another hotly tipped Norn Iron act, Captain Kennedy, celebrate the release of their debut See You When I See You album with an October 11 show in Auntie Annie’s, Belfast where LaFaro mainman Jonny Black and Junior Johnson are among the guests.
You can also catch the Lurgan quintet in The Railway Bar, Lurgan (October 15); Black Box, Belfast (23); Point Village, Dublin (24); and again in Auntie Annie’s (November 30).
