Nnic announces headline show in Dublin
The Dublin artist will play Upstairs at Whelan's on May 30.
Dublin native Nnic (aka Naoise Nic) will kick off the summer with a headline show in her home county. She is set to bring her neo-soul/electronic sound to Upstairs at Whelan's on May 30.
Nnic, who has over 10 years of classical vocal training under her belt, combines ballad-like melodies with fresh electronic sampling. Her debut single, 'Pillars', has clocked up 500,000 Spotify streams since its release in the summer. The single, which was our Track of the Day back in August, deals with inspiring themes of female empowerment.
Through the success of ‘Pillars’ and the follow up single '8th Wonder', Nnic has received radio support from BBC, Radio X, Today FM, 2FM.
Tickets to Nnic's Upstairs at Whelan's gig start at €11.80 including booking fee, and go on sale on Friday, February 22, at 9am. See Ticketmaster for more information.
