The Mary Wallopers to play 'guerrilla' show at The Thomas House in Dublin tonight

The Mary Wallopers have announced a ‘guerilla’ show tonight, 8pm at The Thomas House in Dublin. A limited number of tickets has been released to their Instagram broadcast channel.

It marks the third stop of their ‘guerilla’ tour of Ireland, with locations announced on the day. They played McGirls Bar in Ballinamore on September 15, and yesterday in Limerick’s Charlie Malone’s.

The surprise Dublin show is their final gig before the release of their highly anticipated new album Paddywhackery, due out at midnight, September 18.

"People are terrified of being laughed at," Andrew and Charles Hendy said of the new record.

"If people are going to call us paddywhackery anyway, we might as well just call the album Paddywhackery. So its more of a “fuck you” than anything else. We want to spread like a virus and destroy anyone who thinks they are above The Mary Wallopers."

Paddywhackery includes previously released singles ‘KitKat Club’, ‘Crowns Of England’ and ‘Landlord’s Demise’.

In support of the new album the band will perform at Dublin's 3Arena on December 10 and tickets can be purchased here.
