Hot Press Track of the Day: Nnic, 'Pillars'
This moving number is as powerful as its singer's vocals
Today's Fri-yay Track of the Day goes to Nnic with her brand new single, 'Pillars'.
Released just yesterday, the song features powerhouse vocals by its creator - who has over 10 years of classical vocal training under her belt.
She has also previously opened for other great Irish acts like Hozier and Wyverne Lingo.
On the track, Nnic's alternative R&B sound fuses with neo-soul and electronic beats, through which you can easily hear Solange and Annie Lennox influences.
Like both of these women Nnic is also big on female empowerment, stating "'Pillars’ was written from a place of admiration and is a homage to faceless women who selflessly uplift and support others."
