Bonobo announces Dublin show
He will play The National Stadium on February 16.
Bonobo, aka Simon Green, has announced a UK and EU tour for next year, including a stop in Dublin’s National Stadium on February 16.
The tour comes in support of his upcoming album Distance In Static, due out next week, September 11 via Ninja Tune. It features artists such as Joy Crookes, Nilüfer Yanya, Arooj Aftab, Ichiko Aoba and Aany Martin.
The record features lyrics in English, Urdu and Japanese, as well as historic Iranian samples and guzheng recordings. It was recorded across sessions in LA, Tokyo, London and beyond – with a significant portion of the record completed at Neil Young’s legendary Broken Arrow Ranch in California.

Over his 25 years as a recording artist, Green has released e two Top-10 Albums, 2017’s Migration and 2022’s Fragments, as well as numerous Gold and Silver certified singles.
He’s also collaborated with the likes of Erykah Badu and Damon Albarn, and received both Brit and Grammy-nominations.
