Elderbrook announces May 2022 headline show at Vicar Street Dublin
The announcement comes after Elderbrook's incredible two sold-out Whelan's shows.
London electronic act Elderbrook has announced his biggest headline show to date, live at Vicar Street Dublin on Friday 6th May 2022. Tickets for the gig, presented by Singular Artists, will go on sale Thursday, 18th November at 10am.
A live phenomenon, classically-trained multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer/songwriter Elderbrook (real name Alexander Kotz) has a knack for creating emotive music that explores the sensitive and introspective themes of identity and mental health.
The 28-year-old's career as a musician began in 2015, when he released his first EP, which featured the song, 'How Many Times'. The track went on to be remixed by German duo Andhi - becoming one of Mixmag's best songs of 2015.
Grammy and Ivor Novello nominations have since been the result of Elderbrook's work, with 4.5 million Spotify listeners garnered and tours with Jungle, Bonobo, and Friendly Fires. That plus his collaborations with Camelphat, Diplo and Rudimental have earned him a revered reputation as a multi-faceted, forward-thinking talent who is comfortable exploring a range of genres. He released debut album Talking back in 2017, followed by Why Do We Shake In The Cold? in 2020.
Elderbrook dropped his hotly anticipated new EP: Innerlight on October 8th via Parlophone. The four-track release includes collaborations with Bob Moses, Emmit Fenn, Louis the Child + Kölsch. A stunning collection of tracks, Innerlight is Elderbrook’s finest body of work to date.
