Night of music for Yves Sakila to take place in Dublin – featuring Liam Ó Maonlaí, Negro Impacto and more
This event is part of a series of tributes for Yves Sakila's following his death on May 15.
A night of music to honour the late Yves Sakila will take place in the Grand Social, Dublin on June 10.
Yves Salika died in Dublin on May 15, after being heavily restrained by security staff. His death has sparked widespread public outrage, demonstrations by anti-racism groups, and calls for investigation.
On May 21, a ‘Justice for Yves Sakila’ protest was held outside of Dáil Eireann, following a vigil on Henry Street on May 19.
The venue for the gig has been provided free of charge with all artists are performing for free.
The evening will feature performances from Annie-Dog, Salamay, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Cable Boy, and Negro Impacto.
This event is being organised by Joint Effort Productions as a tribute to Yves and in support of his family.

Entry is a minimum 10 euro cash donation with all proceeds raised going to the Sakila family.
