Nick Oliveri of Queens of the Stone Age set for Irish tour
The acclaimed bassist, vocalist and songwriter will come to Ireland for five shows in April 2019.
Nick Oliveri rose to worldwide prominence as a key member of Queens of the Stone Age in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. He was featured prominently on ‘Rated R’ and ‘Songs for Deaf’, two of the band’s most critically acclaimed albums. Oliveri is also known for his work with Kyuss and Mondo Generator, and is the current bass player for punk rock group Dwarves.
In April, Oliveri will embark on a five-date tour of Ireland, featuring stops in Cyprus Avenue in Cork, Dolans in Limerick, Voodoo in Belfast, Róisín Dubh in Galway, and The Button Factory in Dublin.
This tour will see Oliveri playing an acoustic set, performing songs from throughout his career. He will also be joined by special guests New Valley Wolves, an energetic rock group based in Dublin.
