Dermot Kennedy announces Aviva Stadium show
Presale begins on Wednesday, October 8.
Dublin-born singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy has announced his biggest hometown headliner to date. He'll be taking over the Aviva Stadium on July 11, 2026.
The news arrives as he sets off on the sold-out North American leg of his stripped-back A Promised Return tour, having wrapped the European run with sold-out shows at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre and London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town.
It's been a busy few months for the Rathcoole native, having booted up for Soccer Aid and played a number of massive gigs alongside Zach Bryan.
2025 also saw the inaugural Misneach festival, held in Boston and Sydney. The event, curated by Kennedy and put on in time for St Patrick's Day, shone a spotlight on Irish acts, featuring a bill that included The Frames, Matt Corby, Kneecap, Meg Mac, Amble, Sorcha Richardson, The Scratch, Susan O’Niell, Cliffords, Mick Flannery, Florence Road, The Swell Season, Ye Vagabonds and Nell Mescal, as well as a headline set from the organiser himself.
Presale for Dermot Kennedy's Aviva Stadium gig takes place on Wednesday, October 8 from 10am. General tickets will be on sale from 10am on Friday, October 10. Prices start from €81.25.
