Take That announce new single ahead of Aviva Stadium show this weekend
The new track is the second teaser of their upcoming 10th studio album, following the release of ‘You’re a Superstar’ in April.
Take That have announced a new single ahead of their Aviva Stadium show this weekend.
‘Sweet July’ will be released on Friday, July 3, ahead of the final performance of their UK and Ireland tour on July 4.
Following the release of ‘You’re a Superstar’, the new track will be the second taster of their upcoming 10th studio album. Due to arrive later this year, the record's name has yet to be revealed.
In a social media post making the announcement, Take That asked fans, “Are you ready to have a sweet July?”
“Our new single will be yours on July 3. We hope you love it as much as we do.”
In the video, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen are seen walking through a corridor lined with backing dancers, singing and dancing to the new tune.

The track was first teased during the band’s recent run at London Stadium, a venue they last played at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
The news arrives a week after Take That broke Amazon Music records with The Circus Live broadcast last week.
Their Manchester shows, which took place on June 19-20, became the most-watched UK live-streamed event on Amazon Music.
Originally staged in 2009, The Circus Live broke UK records as the fastest-selling tour in history, with over 600,000 tickets sold in under 5 hours, and over one million attendees across the UK and Ireland.
Support for the Dublin gig will come from the American Pop-rock band OneRepublic.
Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
