Beo Ballymun kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday June 17, and runs until Saturday.
Dónal Lunny and The Rolling Waves are just some of the big Irish folk names set to perform in a brand new trad and ballads festival in Dublin this week.
Beo Ballymun, a new initiative funded by Dublin City Council, begins in Axis Ballymun tomorrow, June 17, and runs until Saturday.
There will be free trad and ballads sessions in the Axis cafe every afternoon, with ticketed events taking place in the Setanta clubhouse each evening.
Things conclude on Saturday night with a grand finale concert featuring Dónal Lunny, Máirtín O’Connor and Róisín Elsafty.
