New music, culture & arts festival for Sligo
Sony Ericsson has announced that a new three day family-friendly, music, culture and arts festival will take place at Temple House, Sligo this September.
The Sony Ericsson Temple House Festival will be held in the grounds of the Temple House estate near Ballymote, Sligo on Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September 2010.
The ‘eclectic micro music festival’ will offer a range of entertainment for the whole family. There will be live music, poetry readings, face painting, holistic therapies, art exhibitions, farmers’ market, vintage clothes and jewellery fair. Additional fun for the kids will be provided by a children’s team which aim to make the most of the Temple House estate.
The musical line-up will be announced in May, and promises to include indie, traditional, folk, bluegrass and dance music.
Festival-goers will be welcomed on site from Thursday evening and will be able to sleep in yurts, tepees and cottages dotted around the festival grounds, as well as the usual camping options for those on a budget.
