Music Industry Xplained: Hot Press announces details 2013 MIX course
Places are filling up fast.
The renowned Hot Press Music Industry Xplained (MIX) course is back in 2013.
Geared towards those seeking careers in the music industry, it aims to give students a practical overview of the workings of the various components of the industry using lecturers that are currently employed at the top of the music and entertainment industries.
A 13-week course comprising 11 lectures, each from distinguished members of the industry both at home and abroad, everything from music marketing and publicity to management, touring and songwriting is covered.
Lectures take place from Jan 29 every Tuesday at 7.30pm. The course concludes with a written exam (April 16) and a final discussion on the future of the music industry and presentation of certificates the following week.
