Christie Hennessy: “Mr Blue” (WEA)

I’ve never quite understood the Christie Hennessy phenomenon but ‘Mr Blue’, where Christie is accompanied by Hermione Ross, goes some way towards enlightening me. Behind all the sweetness and light there lurks a hinted-at darkness. Hennessy is certainly unique, even if the lyrics can be a little predictable at times.
