Woohoo! Finally, after what feels like a lifetime, the Deftones return to the fray with ‘Minerva’, the first taster from their forthcoming self-titled album. ‘Minerva’ picks up where ‘Change (In The House Of Flies)’ left off – all epic guitars, layer upon layer, magnificent crescendos, down-tempo rhythms, seething vocals – basically, everything you’d expect from Chino Moreno and co – except better. Beautiful.
