Miles Kane returns with 'Don’t Let It Get You Down' and shares album release date
Alex Turner's main partner in crime is reigniting his solo career.
Indie rocker Miles Kane has revealed that his new record Change The Show will be released on January 21, 2021.
The announcement of his fourth full-length release arrives alongside new single, 'Don’t Let It Get You Down'.
Its video features Jimmi Simpson of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Westworld fame dancing with Kane to the sax-fused track.
Speaking about creating his upcoming album during the pandemic, The Last Shadow Puppets member said: "This album was born out of an intense period of self-reflection; having all this unexpected time on my hands.
"I wrote songs about big highs, big lows, daydreams, true friends and deep feelings. I learnt to let the future unfold of its own accord while staying true to myself and that has led to what feels to me like a really uplifting album!"
Change The Show will be Kane's first album since 2018's Coup De Grace.
Touring that record, he appeared at the 2019 edition of Electric Picnic, storming the Electric Arena with Hot Press' Lucy O'Toole there to capture it.
"Winning over the sceptics, this was British rock as it's supposed to be served," she wrote. "Loud and brave, with fearlessly direct and unexpectedly moving melodies."
Shortly before this set, the Liverpudlian musician also made a special appearance at the Hot Press Chat Room tent, which you can check out pictures of here.
