Michael Jackson earns spot on The Guinness Book of World Records on this day in 1988
Always one to push boundaries, 1988 saw Jackson at his peak.
The Prince of Pop blasted previous records out of the water when he played the first of seven nights at Wembley Stadium in London.
504,000 fans attended the shows on his Bad World Tour shattering the record previously held by Genesis.
With four sold out nights, Jackson performed to celebrities such as Prince Charles and Diana proving that he was the smoothest of smooth criminals.
