Michael Fassbender in running for Harry Hole role

Jo Nesbø's extremely successful crime novel The Snowman has long been slated for the big screen but it would seem all systems are almost go and one of our own will be playing the hero.
Michael Fassbender is currently in talks to star as Harry Hole, the cop who plays by his own rules as he works on Norway's first serial killer case.
Director Tomas Alfredson, who helmed Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy> is already on board for this latest cinematic slice of Nordic noir, while Martin Scorsese has now taken on the role of executive producer.
