Merchy Christmas to return to The Grand Social next month – featuring Gilla Band, Curtisy, Pillow Queens and more

Some of the biggest names in Irish music will be flogging their wares directly to their fans next month, as Merchy Christmas returns to The Grand Social in Dublin for its sixth edition – taking place 11am to 7pm on Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14.

This year, the music merch market will feature the likes of Gilla Band, Bricknasty, Pillow Queens, Junior Brother, Ispíní na hÉireann, Saint Sister, THUMPER, MayKay, Curtisy, BOLD LOVE, Fizzy Orange and Madra Salach – among many others.

The idea for Merchy Christmas was first sparked during the Christmas lockdown in 2020, by Conor Cusack and Saint Sister. Working with Keiron Black and The Grand Social, they put together a hugely successful, two-day event across multiple floors.

Although admission is free, a suggested donation of €6 will be split this year between Dublin Simon Community and The Palestine Children's Relief Fund. In 2024, the event raised over €18,000 for the two charities – with organisers hoping to raise even more this year.

A jumbo raffle will take place each day, with limited-edition merch donated by the artists taking part in the market.

There will also be live performances across the weekend – with details set to be revealed closer to the time.
