Marianne Faithfull and Ute Lemper both announce shows at Grand Canal Theatre
The two women will play shows in June at the Dublin venue
The German singer, Ute Lemper will appear at the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin on Tuesday 22nd June. Her concert will feature Ultimo Tango, a collection of Tangos from around the world in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and English. She will also be performing an homage to composer Astor Piazzolla, as well as Tangos from Kurt Weill and Jacques Brel.
Tickets are currently on sale now. They are priced at €38 and €41, and are available through the Grand Canal Theatre website.
The next night, Wednesday 23rd June, British singer and former girlfriend of Mick Jagger, Marianne Faithfull will take the stage at the Grand Canal Theatre. Faithfull has recently returned from a sold-out tour in Australia, and she takes the Dublin stage ready to perform songs from her most recent album, 2007's Easy Come, Easy Go as well as her classics from the 60s and 70s.
Tickets are €39.20 and €41.20, and currently on sale via the Grand Canal Theatre website.
