Mariah Carey delays World Music Awards by four hours

As the singer readies for the release of her latest album Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse, her launch party for the album seemed to have become so delayed that it threw off the entire awards show.

Carey's launch party was intended for 5:30 PM but instead occurred at 9:30 PM, creating the same delay for the awards ceremony held in Monaco. This meant that musical stars such as Miley Cyrus and Jason Derulo were forced to adjust their schedules accordingly.

Carey or her team offered no explanation for the delay, but surely can take solace in the fact that she is important enough to delay an entire awards ceremony for four hours.
