Mac DeMarco announces new album and Dublin shows
The gigs will be the indie songwriter's first in Dublin for six years
Canadian musician Mac DeMarco has announced a new album, as well as Dublin shows in the National Stadium on November 17 & 18, 2025.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, DeMarco wrote that his new record will be out in August. He did not share any further details.
The upcoming project will be his seventh studio album and his first since April 2023's One Wayne G - a mainly instrumental project that consisted of 199 tracks.
Born Vernor Winfield MacBriare Smith IV in British Columbia, DeMarco has enjoyed a career as a beloved indie singer-songwriter since his emergence in the early 2010s. Known for his DIY recording approach and distinctly laid-back sound, he currently sits at just below 19m monthly listeners on Spotify.
He is set to tour across North America and Europe later this year, starting out in Los Angeles on August 29. The Dublin dates will be his first since he headlined Vicar Street in late 2019.
