Lucky Dube to play Ireland
Billed as the biggest selling living reggae artist, Lucky Dube is set to play Ireland during his world tour.
Born in Johannesburg, Lucky Dube (yes, that is his real name) has gone on to sell over three million albums worldwide over his 20 years in the biz.
Most recently seen representing South Africa in the cricket world cup opening ceremony, he's had a colourful career, involving being banned by the Apartheid government but seeing his song 'Together as One' the first by a black artist to be played on a white radio station in South Africa.
He'll prove his legendary status when he plays The Black Box, Belfast (22 April); Roisin Dubh, Galway (23); Tripod, Dublin (23); Trinity Rooms, Limerick (25) and Cyprus Avenue, Cork (26).
