Love Hurts

Well, it was never going to better Gram and Emmylou’s version, (which begs the question, why bother?), and I was left wondering how Tracy Thorn and Ben Watt might tackle this little gem. However, ‘Warm My Soul’ is a delightfully self-pitying earful of country life, and ‘Lean On Me’ lounges things up considerably with a Lloyd Cole-esqe serving of slung hash.
