Lorde claims Irish Singles Chart crown
Katy Perry has finally been dethroned...
There's a new chart queen in town as 16-year-old New Zealand sensation Lorde leaps two places to the coveted number one spot with 'Royals' in just its second week of release.
That means Katy Perry's dominant 'Roar' finally loosens its grip at the top, dropping one place to #2. Miley Cyrus also moves down one to #3 following her controversial spat with Sinéad O'Connor. Meanwhile, Dublin man of the moment Hozier leaps a whopping sixteen places as 'Take Me To Church' lands in fourth spot. OneRepublic round out the top five with 'Counting Stars'.
The remainder of the top ten is made up of Birdy, Jason Derulo, Avicii and a new entry for The Saturdays, 'Disco Love'. Check out the full rundown here.
